Solenoid works,Cart don't

First to scottyb,my old controller was not dead but weak as I could only go about 16MPH instead of 28MPH that I always did.I did get a new serial cable for the new controller I got.This came with a disc and my computer now recognized the cable but when I hooked it up it said "no controller found". Like I said I"ll hook up the old slow controller meanwhile and send in the new one to alltrax and have them change the field map to the correct one for me (FM3 to FM4).

You are almost there! The control has to be powered up before you open the program..... this is one of the quirks of that software. So get the LED light lite on the control and then open the software. I can email you map 3 or 4 if you need it. Map 4 is for stock PDS motor. Map 3 is for stock DCS motor. I'm pretty sure that's the way I did it but I gave it another try being very careful to do it step by step in the order but I still could not get a read so I decided to wrap it up and send it in to get programmed. I put the old controller back in and decided to see if I could get this one to get a reading and it came up instantly. Have no idea why the replacement would not read, I hope alltrax can reprogram it. We will see after alltrax receives it. I will keep you informed.

Got a package from alltrax today,and it was a new controller. They also could not reprogram the old one and gave me a new controller. That's a good company that gives a new replacement without any paperwork and just went by the date on the old one. Cart runs great now,thanks for all the help.

Thanks for updating us. It's always good for anybody reading this later to have the end solution. Alltrax is #1 when it comes to customer service.
