It does indeed click. The fact that it has voltage, then loses it once I press the pedal makes me think it is probably hosed.

Side note; found one at a local cart shop, going to pick it up and change it out. 38 bucks...oh well...its only money..

At $38 that is probably a standard duty 70 amp White Rodgers solenoid. It will work but will be undersized if you upgrade in the future.. Make sure it is the correct voltage..

Yep, correct voltage, stock EZ GO WR solenoid. Just want to get it running at this point...I definitely see upgrades in my future though....

Why pay $40 for a stock solenoid not compatible with upgrades when for $15 more you can get a 200a HD solenoid with new resistor and diode ......

Or keep some stuff as a backup.. My big truck is a rolling parts locker

I have cables, solenoids, controllers and a bunch of other maintenance crap in there. I go up to the lake place and all these broken carts show up on my doorstep..

I am happy to announce the solenoid cured the problem, the cart moves under its own power.....

Probably was the issue all along, but hey, at least I have new electronics now.....LOL

Thanks for the help and suggestions.....this place rocks..
