Winterizing Question
I have a 1992 EZ-GO Marathon and where it's stored, (in my garage) is pretty cold. I check the water in the batteries every other month or so but neglected to do so in the fall. I noticed the water levels were low so I filled them up and charged the batteries regularly but noticed it seems the power isn't up to full steam. I used it last night for some time and it worked OK but not great.
So my question is, how do I winterize my batteries since it is stored in a cold garage? Or is there a way to preserve my batteries when I'm not using the cart much? thanks! |

Re: Winterizing Question
Battery performance is reduced in colder weather.
Get a DPI Accusense charger. It goes into float charge after the regular charge cycle completes and keeps them fully charged while not in use. |
