Default StarCar Accusense charger with EZGO TXT

Hey everybody,

As a Christmas gift, I was given a new "Starcar" 48 volt Accusense charger.
I am in the middle of a conversion to 48 volt on my Series TXT.
I am curious what would need to be done to convert the charger for EZGO D-handle. I believe that it is only a 2-wire cable from the plug to the charger, and the connections appear to be very nicely soldered.
The confusion, is that my original "Powerwise" charger has the 3rd lead for the "pick-up", I believe to turn on the charger when it is plugged into the cart.
Thanks much.

DPI Accusense? Should be just a plug swap.

Yep, just the two wires.

The PCB in the DPI charger senses the battery via the two wire output cable.

Hi--

Yes- Both CG and Johnnie B are correct- you can do the swap as they said.

I do this conversion at our shop regularly (36v to 48v).

We do not re-use D handle .
WE CHANGE THE PORT. As a shop-we feel the cost of changing the port to the EZ-GO triangle 48v is a safety issue.

The 48v charger could be plugged into a 36v cart or 36v charger plugged in to 48v cart.
Please consider going with proper port and charger plug..... I know it will add significantly to cost, but safety is a concern.
