Front Seat
I make my own. Trace out the board and holes on a new piece of plywood. You can get those T nut inserts at Lowe's. You just hammer them in. Replace bolts with stainless when you put it back together.

Re: Front Seat
Tip for T-Nuts: Drill the hole in the wood so the shaft of the T-Nut fits snugly. When you go to tap the nut into the wood make sure a bolt is in the threads of the T-Nut so it stays ROUND while you tap it into the wood. It's abit of a hassle, but you will have fewer problems down the road.

Re: Front Seat
I used 3/4 inch marine grade plywood as the base for my seat platform, (same thing as the seat bottom). I had a little better than 3/4 of a complete base to start with so it took a bit of trial and error to get the right fit. Just take it easy and use a good jig saw, you should be good.

Re: Front Seat
Thanks to all...
Best is to build it myself. Had an offer to sell me a new one locally for $150.00...still in the box. |
