F/R Switch Cleaning
After reading the forum for a while, now is my time to ask the questions :)
I'm now the proud owner of a 1997 EZ-Go Shuttle, this puppy is pretty tricked out and looks great, will post pictures later. Batteries look new(ish) they are the Energizer GC2; from the looks of it I think that the 2 batts that run the 12 volt lights may be close to dying. I'm measuring 6.15 volts on them while the rest shows 6. more on that in my next post. That is the story, now here goes the question: Looks like this baby had some off-road under his belt. And doing a visual inspection yesterday the F/R switch looks pretty dirty to even ***** the condition. Which is the best way to clean this? Attached are some pics. |

Re: F/R Switch Cleaning
Welcome to BGW> If the cart is working fine be sure the lug contacts are shiny clean and the micro switches are working fine. That is all that maters. Washing up electronic switches can be asking for trouble.

Re: F/R Switch Cleaning
Thanks ScottyB will check that out today.. Probably a bit of air from the compressor will help out.
P.S. Looks like the forum did not like my way of saying "evaluate" and censored me :) ( I may have missed an "S" ) |
