Is it best practice to use one of those close end connectors to tie all 6 ground wires from your lights together?

Trying to put an image into message...hope it works...

What about one of those connectors where you plug in the stripped wires?

No those are good for low voltage sprinkler systems but not a high vibration & acidic environment found under the seat of a golf cart.
get something with a bolt down connection in copper or stainless.

Blue Sea makes DC distribution blocks with both fused positive circuits and a negative bus on the same panel and they come with or without a splash cover.

6 circuit w/o cover = 5030
6 circuit with cover = 5025
Also made with more circuits.

Blue Sea stuff is Marine grade and expensive, but there might be some clones out there.
