Default Need a charger

I'm picking up a 2004 EZ GO TXTE series 36v cart tomorrow. It doesn't have a charger. I may upgrade to 48v in the future, but will wait to see the conditions of the batteries. Can anyone recommend a good 36v charger? Is there a good charger that can charge both 36 and 48v? Appreciate your help

I don't think they make a good dual voltage charger. If your planning to go 48 volt I'd do it now before you buy a charger, because if not you'll have to buy another later.

No charger probably = bad batteries. See if you can borrow or use one at a local shop or from a friend. I just saw the other day here where johnnyB was showing someone how to charge 2 6v batteries at a time using a 12v charger to equalize them but you could do just to check the cart out to make sure no other problems. Just make sure to watch them close and monitor voltage with a dvm.
