Believe it or not I'm not sure how to get these off do I use a long nose plier I tried all my screw tips and nothing provides a grip and I don't want to break them.

Ezgo used 'push rivets'
They are one time use fasteners.
Use a small screwdriver or large nail.... and hammer.
An awl is ideal = drive the center pin through and the faster is freed.

Can I use regular screws once I pop them out or do I need to order new ones?

Got it thanks ScottyB!
