the air filter is attached, just looks like the wrong one and us just laying next to it, but is attached. Where are you looking at as far as the governor is concerned?

The white plastic cover on the diff. has a arm just in front that controls a cable. the cable is the bottom of the 2 cables attached to the carb. The top cable is the throtle bot the lower controls how far the throttle shaft moves. Of corse the choke cable is attached to the carb. also.

that is what my carb looks like and it falls off and loads up bad. have been through the whole thing and can't figure this out.

But worse than that, if it is the original air filter then it will have a hole in the top for the long bolt. If this hole has not been blocked off then you will be by passing the filter. You should check to be sure. Running a 2 stroke on unfiltered air will damage the crankshaft bearings, big end, crank seals and will eventually cause you to rip your genitals off in rage.

If this is what happens with a two-stroke I'm stickin with a 4 stroke!!
