clutch falling off
hi all, not new to carts or forums. My old forum just kinda stopped. Anyhoo,I got a 86 2pg that the drive clutch keeps coming off. Inspect every thing,no visible wear. Use loc-tite, torque to 60 ft lbs and cart goes about 10 ft and the clutch comes off. Any ideas??
Oh, I let the loc-tite set over night before trying to run it. |

Re: clutch falling off
I replaced the lock washer but I am thinking the same thing about the bolt bottoming. Im going to try a spacer that is a little thicker. I say spacer but really its just a heavy washer. thx for the quick reply. Also I dont know how long my loc-tite has been in the tool box so I will get some new.
