primary clutch cap
Hi guys got a question primary clutch cap that has 3 bolts that hold it on well I have one striped not sure what thread it is or size I know i have to drill it out and rethread not sure what size to rethread

Sorry, can't help exactly but here is the Yamaha p/n = (90105-06861-00) for the screw. They don't list the size. My suggestion to you would be to measure the metric screw thread O.D. in inches (using dial caliper or micrometer) and pick the next bigger U.S. sae screw size with a thread pitch as close to the metric one as you can. (You will only have a couple of choices, the us ones will be coarse and fine thread.) I'm thinking you will need #10 (3/16) or 1/4 U.S. size. Better yet, take the old screw to the hardware store and they will help you. Hope this helps - RAY
