Default Salvage Club Car from flood

I'm looking to do another cart remodel. I guess I'm addicted now. I want to get another Club Car DS, and like last time, replace everything but the frame, body, transmission, and suspension (if re-usable).

My question: will a flood-salvage cart (including some salt-water flood salvages) typically have rust or corrosion damage in the transmission? Or any serious rust/corrosion issues on other expensive parts like axels?

Keep in mind I will be replacing all wiring, motor, controller, throttle, EVERYTHING in the go-fast department.
