Re: Navitas Controller
Any reason people are choosing Navitas? Is it just because they have one that works for ICON?
Personally I think I'd rather an Alltrax just because you can program it with a USB. I'm wondering if they have a wiring harness yet. |

Re: Navitas Controller
I reached out to Alltrax and they don't have an AC one yet but in a few weeks or couple months they expect to...so that's out for the moment.
I've had both Navitas and Alltrax and to me, it feels like Alltrax is more geared for tinkering where Navitas is more for "products", but can be customized. |

Re: Navitas Controller
Navitas chosen because it's the only one I could find for Icon, supposedly it's plug and play and then can use the OTF from there...of course if you're a real guru you can use the dealer app and change all kinds of settings in the app so no plug in needed at all. I confirmed with multiple dealers and Navitas tech support themselves and they said stock everything from the Icon will work (no need to upgrade to 2g cables, solenoid, etc.)...and just as an FYI the replacement cable that goes to the solenoid is 4g cable not 2g so I guess that confirms you really don't need 2g unless you want to be extra double safe or maybe if you are upgrading motor too. I ordered t hrough Plum QUick, once ordered it was here in 2 days (PA to MD delivery).
PS - I did get the dealer app, Navitas tech was able to get it setup over the phone for me in about 5 minutes, so if you want to change all different settings aside from the OTF, I think you can just call them to get it...not sure why they don't just put the dealer app in the app store for download but was pretty painless. |

They likely don't have it in the app store because getting it listed has a TON of red tape and limitations when this is essentially a niche utility app that can be side-loaded or whatever and Navitas doesn't have to deal with Apple/Google. |

Re: Navitas Controller
They asked where I bought it from and gave me the dealer app, so I'm figuring all you need to do is call and ask they walk you through creating your username/PW, and send to a link to activate your account and then you have the dealer app features available.
