08 Precedent MCOR
I was removing the panel to access the MCOR to identify which one that I need to order when I saw this silver piece hanging from a spring. Any suggestions on where that piece should connect? I stopped here before pulling the entire assembly to see the MCOR.
Thanks, Allen |

Re: 08 Precedent MCOR
It’s part of your brake light switch. Hard to tell exactly which one it is but I think it should mount to the brake cable may be part of it has broke off it doesn’t look complete.

HOWEVER, it could have been removed on because the timer is faulty leaving the brake lights on all the time. This is a problem with that style of brake light system, the 30 sec timer. A replacement timer is almost impossible to find. My solution is to use the part in the link. This is a pressure pad that replaces the existing rubber pad on the brake pedal. It is very nearly the same pressure switch that all new Precedents, Onwards have from factory. I have used a half dozen or so of these to repair brake lights. Lights are only on when pressure is on brake pedal. Plug and play. Finally, order your MCOR from David at Revolution Golf Cars (site sponsor) and get genuine Club Car instead of crappy Amazon Chinese KO. That's 2 cents plus... https://www.ebay.com/itm/11437283393...53.m2749.l2649 Actually found this switch and timer on eBay. Saves a few $$ but same issue in future, it will fail again. https://www.ebay.com/itm/22194737215...oAAOSwys5WUPDj |
