Default Powerwise qe 36v charger

I just got a powerwise qe charger and need to put a crowfoot plug on it. The plug on the charger has 3 wires and my crowfoot has 2. The green is the extra wire. Can I just not use the green and connect the hot and neutral or do I have to use the green somewhere, or maybe do something in the charger? Thanks

I am in the same situation. Did you ever get an answer to your question?
