Cart slows before batteries are drained
I have a 74 Cushman Golfster 36v with a new motor and old batteries. I can charge the batteries until they register 36volts but the cart only runs well for about 300 yards until it starts to slow down and then stop. When I check the voltage after the cart stops it still shows 34 volts or so but the cart still has no balls. If the batteries still have voltage shouldn't they still be able to spin the motor? Thanks yall

Re: Cart slows before batteries are drained
Sir---your batteries are totally discharged at 34 volts. At 36 volts they are only 50% charged. You need to fully charge your batteries--IF they can still hold a charge. Full charge is 38.2 volts. Check out the chart below.
