Cart will not go
New to this site. I have a 1998 ezgo 36 volt. I put it on the charger and went out to days later to play and it would not go anywhere. It worked at the end of last year when I quit playing at the end of October. Thought it was the batteries and did have to replace 4 of them. But it still wont go. You can push the pedal to the floor and you can hear the motor working, it will move just a little. I dont know anything about it and was looking for some ideas on what the trouble is.
Thanks alot. |

Re: Cart will not go
May be a stripped brake drum? Why would you replace 4 batteries and not them all?

Re: Cart will not go
I only replaced four because I had somebody check and the other two were still good and yes it does roll freely when you push it by hand.

Re: Cart will not go
5 new batteries and 1 old one? You will not get the full value or life from the new ones with the old one in the string....They want to charge at different rates... So the old one will make the charger cook the new ones and they will not last as they should. This is a foolish choice IMHO you can to show this post to whomever is testing and selling you batteries!
P.S. I'll guess you used the old battery cables too? |
