Finally bought me a golf cart!
Ok, a few of you have been giving me a hard time lately about not actually owning a personal golf car. I'd like to announce that I have purchased one that I think I'm going to keep. It's a 1994 Carryall 1, 36 Volt Resistor car. I came across a deal I couldn't pass up. It had (sold them today) 2017 Interstate batteries in it that were worth more than I paid for the car. Future plans are gonna be big. This is my future hunting buggy. I'll be selling off the resistor and v-glide assembly, 36 volt charger, and probably the D&D motor that is currently on it. Probably going to be a slow build as I don't have a lot of time to focus on it at the moment but here are a few of the plans.
-All Sports long travel lift kit -23" Swamp Fox tires on 12" black steel wheels -Camo hydro-dipped front Spartan cowl -Limo steering column to allow more room for my belly -Recovered black seats with factory vinyl -Camo hydro dipped cargo bed with truck bedliner in the cargo area -Camo hydro-dipped thin lexan panels to cover the aluminum sides of the rear body. I've done this before. Pop rivet them to the car with small pop rivets and you can't tell they're not supposed to be there. -Custom brush guard with winch mount -No TOP (my favorite part!) -64 Volt Series drive system with Alltrax SR 72500 controller and D&D High Torque motor or Admiral A1 (Haven't decided yet) -MCOR4 conversion -Widened rear drive unit (Thanks Aflyer, lol) with welded spider gears for permanent locker Here's a "Before" pic attached to this post. I'll post new photos as I go, but it may take a while. |
