Default DS pedal jumpy

I have a 48 volt DS, that has a 400amp Curtis controller, I replaced the V-glide with an Mcor 4. now the pedal is jumpy, you cant just ease into it. any thoughts

If your linkage is all correctly hooked up, then it can only be the potentiometer inside the MCOR4. Here is a way to check it, although I am not sure that the wire colors are the same due to yours being a conversio, but you can probe them out and still do it. With the batteries connected, place the black (–) probe on packs main Negative post and the red (+) probe on the yellow wire at the 3-pin connector near the MCOR. (The reading should be approximately ~0.32 - 0.5vdc with the pedal up). Slowly press the Go Pedal and the readings should steadily increase until it reaches ~4.65 - 5vdc when the pedal is fully pressed. (Anything less than 4.60vdc and you are not reaching full throttle). If the reading is erratic or jumps all over the place it is a bad output signal and you need to contact your supplier for a replacement MCOR.
