Your OBC is dead, in that old system the OBC actually powered the cart logic instead of just providing a Controller lockout like in the later versions.

Disconnect OBC 6-pin connector and place a wire jumper between the White and the Blue wires on the harness side 6-pin connector.

Once you get the cart going you will need to figure out your charging and battery situation (truck batteries?).

ok so i hooked a jumper between the white wire and the blue wire on the harness side and when i hooked the main negative back up and turned the run /tow switch on and the ignition on i heard a hissing noise followed by smoke and sparks from the obc..... lol i assume its not supposed to do that lol any ideas why it would have shorted?

The low current side of the cart that powers the controller processor is the "logic" side. The motor is on the high current or power side.

With the OBC 6-pin connector unplugged there was no power to the OBC so you need to look a little closer to where exactly the smoke was originating.

The OBC powers the FNR and the Controller logic "low current" using the Blue wire.

The white wire is power from the Tow/Run switch.

Connecting the Blue and the White wires together by-passes the OBC and powers the "logic" side directly from the Tow/Run switch.

Look at the diodes on the Solenoid to make sure they are installed correctly.

The diode on the small post has the "stripped end" on the same post as the solid blue wire.

The diode on the big posts has the "stripped end" on the same post as the pack positive battery post.

the diode on the large terminals has the band facing towards the main+ from the battery . the blue wire is on the same side as the main + and the small diode is the same . i put the volt meter on the solenoid just now just to check it and i noticed that on the B+ side of the solenoid i know have voltage that is slowly bleeding of ???? i did not have this before .

so 48 volts main + from battery and 48 volts and dropping rapidly on the B+ side to the controller .
i checked it again a few min ago and now no voltage on the B+ side .

i still haven't found anything that would have caused the spark yet.

Nor unless you are physically removing the OBC from the cart.
