Re: Club Car year identification
Well the obvious option is to do to a powerdrive plug- but- the OBC is likely bad if someone modified it like that. You might want to get a standalone 48V automatic charger.

Re: Club Car year identification
Any suggestions for the brand or specs? It seems my options are limited down here in Mexico. It seems to be difficult to find vendors that ship here.
It looks like I might be able to get a Modz 48v 15a shipped here. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Re: Club Car year identification
Ive only used DPI for new chargers, but there are many others that are good as well. You might check and see if Scotty at cartsunlimited.net can ship you one...

Would a DPI work properly if the OBC is bad?

Re: Club Car year identification
Looking through old post I came across this. How would I know if my cart is one of these and how would that impact my deciding on new batteries and charger.

Re: Club Car year identification
Yours is probably not- you would have to find the controller and take a picture of it. It’s up under the back of the body and difficult to see. Some have an access cover.

Re: Club Car year identification
Thanks again Luke. I wasn’t able to get a very clear picture but I can see that it was 48v when it was manufactured.

Re: Club Car year identification
Maybe one last question in this thread...is there any reason to change the charger receptacle if I can find a good crowfoot charger that is compatible?
