The standard place on a Precedent is on the plate behind the front suspension. I'm not sure where the standard spot is on a DS.

That's the one. As klubber said, this connection allows the OBC to read how much power has been used and then control the charger to put that power back.

I hope you've got what you need from Scotty's reply and diagram. According to that diagram it is the green wire that you should connect to the "cold" side of the key switch (i.e. the connector that only has power when the key is on but doesn't have power when the key is off).

That’s an odd spot. I have most of the stuff mounted in the battery tub, affixed to the sidewalk. That’s the driest location to me.

Not sure if this helps being that it is not the same converter or the same cart. But this is where I installed a reliance reducer on my DS.
I isolated the mounting bars with nylon bushings and tapped the bars so the screws that hold the reducer could screw right in.

Yikes looks a little tight, ordered a reducer and volt meter today, hope we don't need to drill any holes.

Sorry for butting in on your post JWreck.

Not butting in at all, this post was meant for these questions!

I may get started wiring this up today...gotta find a place that sells wire and wire connectors around here. Advanced Auto just isn’t cutting it.

Also, Install a bus bar ground and a fuse block. It will make the job of installing more accessories easy, and add a layer of protection.

Yeah reading the diagram I’m not entirely sure how the fuse block and bus fits in to this install.

The reducer feeds the Fuse block. The busbar goes back to B-. All accessories are fed by them
