Even up in Canada ... black seats are HOT !!
  I wanted a certain style of steel pan seat for my cart but could only get black ones in Canada ... I ended up finding them in light gray from the US and am VERY glad that I did. |

Towels suck. They blow off at the slightest breeze and/or slide around. Get yourself a small rubber backed bathmat in the color and pile depth of your choice. Cool in summer and more importantly up here, warmer in winter.
The rubber backing keeps them from sliding much and they are heavy enough to stay put when a breeze comes up. As a bonus, if your ride gets caught in the rain or snow, you can flip it over or remove it completely to reveal a dry surface underneath 'cause nobody likes soggy arse. |

My work cart has a black seat, and if I don't park that thing in the shade every time, that thing is almost impossible to sit on inside of 3 minutes. Even with long pants on.
