AllTrax Contoller Help
We have a 2014 precedent club cart i2L. We put a 500 AllTrax Controller and a A4 motor on it. Top speed 3 MPH maybe. When you first turn the key on you have to wait 5 minutes before the cart will do anything. When I put it on the laptop for monitoring it shows full throttle shutdown. Then it clears with no codes. Then it’ll move but only goes about 3 mph.

Re: AllTrax Contoller Help
Most common cause is a conflict with the motor speed sensor. Possibly it is not connected or the controller is not seeing it.
1. connect a laptop with Alltrax free toolkit software 2. verify in monitor mode 0-100% throttle consistent with pedal position. 3. un-check limit speed box If un-checking limit speed fixes the cart then the problem is with the speed magnet or it's connection. Re: AllTrax Contoller Help
We unchecked the limit speed box and that seems to have fixed the problem. How do we check the speed magnet and it’s connection?

Re: AllTrax Contoller Help
Found a yellow/black wire. It has two other wires connected to it. One goes to a cigarette lighter plug and one goes to the volt meter.

Re: AllTrax Contoller Help
What that does is tell us the problm is in the motor rpm monitor or control area.
Is there an FN device connected to the cart? If yes is the correct FN box checked? |

Re: AllTrax Contoller Help
Try disconnecting the wires from the black/yellow connector first.
The Excell & Eric carts use the same negative as the Throttle return wire and sometimes if there is too much load on that black/yellow negative wire it can affect the throttle signal. |
