Hyundai front wheel bearing
Older electric Hyundai.
Front wheel bearing is loose. I pulled the cap expecting to find a standard bearing but it wasn't. I looked in the parts manual (still need a service manual if anyone has one) and it appears all is correct. There is just a large non-castlated bolt on the front axle and a cotter pin is on the outside of the bolt which would prevent it from backing all the way off but would not keep the bearing tight. The bolt is tight but there is still play in the bearing and I can't tighten it further. Any suggestions? Are these repackable bearings? Thanks, Jeff |
