Re: 48v on 36v
No no no
Okay let me rephrase that.... no NO no The controller may go into low voltage cut off. The 48v solenoid may burn out the activation circuit. The motor may draw excessive amperage trying to run under designed voltage. Your charger will over charge the batteries. I have seen 48v carts running on 36v batteries, but never well and never long |

Re: 48v on 36v
Not exactly sure what your asking here...If your asking if a 48 volt cart will run with 8 6 volt batteries making 48 volts than yes. If your asking if a 48 volt cart will run on 36 volts my first question would be why would you want too and are you aware you would need a diff charger?

Re: 48v on 36v
Thanks Guys,
I just aquired a 48v Yamaha w/o a charger or Batts, but I do have 6v batts so I figured maybe they would run the cart, just slower than 8v. Now I know I cant. Thanks again |

If you can find 2 more 6v batts and a place to mount them ( in the bagwell) Then you'll have 48v |
