Re: Cushman Cart wiring issue
Hello everyone. good news. I needed new batteries and got a buddy of mine over to help figure out the wiring mess. about 3 hours later it was running, forward and reverse. it took it out for a test drive. it seemed a little sluggish going up a slight incline. does anyone know if there is a high and low speed or if it is all in the peddle. it doesn't seem to start to move until the peddle is 1/2 way down. other then that i now have to work on the breaks.

Re: Cushman Cart wiring issue
I'm using the same GE motor, 5BC48JB248, and controller to power a Polaris ATV. I'm about to build the motor mount and can't remember which way it turns / rotates (CW or CCW) from looking straight on at the sprocket. Would you take a moment and let me know.
I have a couple of photos of the wiring before I pulled it apart if that would be of any help. Casey |
