Default G9 36v electric range?

Was curious what to expect for the mileage on a fully charged system. Was planning our first outing and have taken it around the block a few times. A good hiking spot is about a mile down the road. I am sure it will make it, but was wondering what to expect on this. Thanks in advance.

Okay, by google maps the location is 2.4 miles away, no hills. Batteries are reading a steady 6.0 volts on each. I charged the batteries after a short run last night. I need to pay closer attention to the amp cycle. It starts at 15 then after 20-30 minutes went to 10A. I got up this morning hoping for the best.

What is a good state of charge meter for a G9?

Here's a battery meter that is working very well, ----- 6.0 is around 40% charged, you should never run the battery pack below 50% charge, so as you can see your at 40% so i don't think you will get more than ? miles if your lucky, how old are the batteries?? a fully charged pack is 38.2

okay, did some reading around here, and found an epsom salt trick. Instead of taking the car out, I did battery project.

This morning batts are measuring 6.35 on each.

total power measures 38.2!

Now....if the batts are Energizer GC2 rated at 105 minutes, then 630 minutes total.....a max range of 315 minutes? In theory?

No. Batteries are in series - you don't get to add the minutes!

take those battery readings after the batteries have been off the charger fo 12 hours to get a true reading, if you take readings before 12 hours they are false, a fully charged pack will give you around 100 minutes of run time before they need to be charged,

last charge was Saturday and we ran it back and forth to work for a few days. The readings are strange. After one trip on Tuesday I got a reading of 36.8.

It sits overnight, and after lunch today I got a reading of 37.7.

Is this right? Does it recharge slightly on its own? Do I need a new voltmeter?

I decided to charge tonight, at first the charge is 15A, and 30 minutes later it is still at 15A?

Should it drop amps during a charge?

Lots of questions, thanks.
