Battery Question
Hey folks. Just looking for some advice. My cart batteries are now 6 years old. I'm running Trojan T-105's and they still run just slow up hills and stuff. I'm saving for a new set but wondering if there is any damage that can be done by running low batteries. I don't want to mess it up by getting everything out of my batteries but if there is no risk I'll run them till they die. Just let me know. I'm curious.

Re: Battery Question
Generally you won't hurt anything.
What year of cart do you have? Resistor? Controller? Series? DCS? PDS? In a resistor cart nothing can go wrong from low batteries. With a controller cart, the lower your voltage drops the higher the amperage goes to compensate. DCS carts don't like low voltage, all the rest are OK. |
