It's all good I just pulled the entire steering column and all. Got the floor pans out of the cart. Just have to remove the controller and I'll be rocking and rolling

Update:

I got it all cleaned up and undercoated the entire frame to seal it from moisture. Now I need to replace the shocks and all that good stuff and look at replacing the entire rack or possibly just the tie rod ends. Where is a good place to purchase this stuff? Also I plan to do a diamond plate floor. Do I need to put the metal floor pans in first(factory pans) or just drop the diamond plate floor in? also I found the rivet kit for the body panels but what about an entire rivet kit for my cart? Like all the floor pans and the dash and all that crap? I have removed every single rivet on this machine. Any ideas???

Was just looking at the photo below and noticed the black battery. Are you going to continue to use these and if so you do know its not good to mix and match batteries?

Can you see the date stamp on the posts of those Trojans?
Should be a letter and number.

The body work is looking good and should look real nice after all the grime is cleaned off and touched up.

ScottyB from Carts Unlimited (a sponsor here on the forums) will be your new best friend..... There is probably not a single member here that he hasn't helped at one time or another......

I don't think anyone makes a rivit kit for everything you tore apart lmao..... not many go to quite that extreme......

I wish he would chime in. I'm trying to do everything right the first time and have a ton of questions and ideas to pass around. I need to talk to him bad.

Sorry ...... I been stuck underneath a some possessed Ezgos on steroids ... Thanks for your help Rabbit. I found the blasted sonic weld on the westy... It runs, now it sounds like it's got marbles in the differential!?

They make a complete body rivet kit.... I believe it gets 95% or better of all I see removed... I keep a few standard sizes on hand to fill in the blanks.
Shocks aren't cheap and they are totally over rated ~ all they do is dampen the suspension movement ... well your little sister could push and pull the shocks and the suspension moves what, 3 inches? I've seen them missing and you couldn't tell by riding in it? So if the old shocks are not leaking.... for most builds I say paint them and re-install. Later

Those shocks do get crap all over them, it is not unusual for them to be rusted and sometimes a bear to remove.
