Series wiring question

I just installed a new electric f&r switch from imaginative engineering to get rid of the factory switch. Question is about the wires running to the factory switch, I have a blue, red, and black wire. I assume the blue wire is from the key for power but what do the red and black wire go to? Trying to get this thing wired back up.....

If you are referring to the 2006 EZGO Series in your signature block, download the service manual (28646.pdf) from the Sticky at the top of this forum and look on page E-17.
