Re: MPT 1000 just died on us
Yea, definitely a 2,5 after looking at the pauses. Besides the one wire that is loose the connectors look good. So I’ll get that ordered and report back.

Re: MPT 1000 just died on us
If you are going to order a replacement using an Alltrax don’t worry about the pin because it uses an adapter harness to get from the 24 pin to the controller. Just wire around it. I would still love to see what a handheld reported but if you are too remote I get it. I don’t remember but did you try putting 48 volts on the solenoid small terminals just to make sure it worked?

The 48V sepex drive with a 1264 controller is covered on pages F-19 through page F-36. It has a schematic that shows the personality plug (page F-27) as well as a list of fault codes (page F-25 & F-26), which includes the 2-5 code and the recommended repair action for that code. Since Curtis error codes are based on the presumption of the controller having the correct inputs, the voltages on the pins need to be verified. |

Re: MPT 1000 just died on us
I checked all the voltage. The J1-1 through 12 all seem right. Pack voltage except 9 which is understood.
J1-13 and 14 are off. I’m getting 15v on 13 and 1 on 15. I’ve had the controller unplugged a few times already which I think would disconnect the ITS. Seems to still point to the controller, correct? |

2. Supposed to be 16V to 17V, but 15V might be enough to get some reaction from controller (See 3. below). They mean disconnect the ITS sensor in the pedal box with J1 still plugged into controller. 3. That is within specs with pedal slightly pushed (Just far enough to make solenoid click). Does it increase when pedal is pushed to floor? Should go up to 2.7V +/-0.5V when pedal is on floor. If you're getting the pedal up and pedal down voltages withing specs, the voltage on Pin-13 is close enough. |

Yes, typo. I’ll check that voltage when pressing pedal.

Re: MPT 1000 just died on us
On 15 it is at 1V. If I floor the pedal it goes up to 3.
13 stays constant. |

Re: MPT 1000 just died on us
Is the factory solenoid good with that 500A controller or do I need to order one from Scotty as well? I just got that new factory replacement one, was thinking about just keeping it but if I need a different one I’ll send it back.

Looks like CartsUnlimited is out of stock on the 500A....according to the website. Peeking around elsewhere.
