Default hiem joints instead of tie rods

Has anyone done it to their golf cart?

I guess the answer is no . . . they used them in race car applications, so I guess one could used them on golf carts . . .

heim joint problems....( Racer for 20+ years)

Most racers prefer tie rods over heim joints. most heim joints the public will buy are cheap and will quickly loosen. also they sqeek ..witch is annoying and you will need to lube them often .. tie rods are much lees maintenance .

From a Jeeping perspective I agree with bartman, Skyjacker (Skycrapper) uses hiem joints, they don't hold up and buddies who had them ended up replacing thier lifts within a year.
