Yes. Testing straight off the controller but I don't know what it's suppose to be doing. This cart has the lever for F n R. I've done continuity test on all the wires and they seem to work and wired correctly according to the wire diagram. I will say some of these connectors look pretty bad but still test good if I really drive my probe into them. Where is this signal wire at?

Ok. So today forward and reverse was working fine. We sprayed contact cleaner on all the connectors. After that. It doesn't go forward or backwards. Solenoid still click and working as it should. I'm also get 47volts on the controller.

With the way it is intermittent like that I’m inclined to believe you either have a bad connection somewhere, or a failing controller or solenoid. When it’s in that failed state check voltages at the controller, both sides of the solenoid, and the motor terminals. We need to determine where the voltage is getting lost

Where are you buying these FnR switches from?
Seems too much coincidence that replacing the switch makes it work again every time.
The switch can’t be accurately tested off the cart. The tiniest amount of connection will test “fine” with a meter, but may not be good enough to allow the cart to move.

Repeat failures of the switch can be due to low voltage, which causes an increase in current draw. Are you only seeing 47v at the pack? If so you have a battery problem, and that’s going to cause other issues no matter what else you do.
That is DEAD for a 48v pack. 50.9v is considered a full charge. Somewhere around 48.5v is only around 50%
