Re: Controller Programming
Thanks for your help—— I guess it’s all for nothing until I can figure out how I lost all power to the controller—- there is power to the solenoid, but not sure which wire to check on the controller.

Re: Controller Programming
Check for battery voltage on J1 Pin-4. (Alltrax calls it C1 on the attached schematic.)
This voltage comes from the reed switch, or reed switch bypass. |

Re: Controller Programming
Attached is a drawing showing how the voltage gets into the controller and out to the switches and solenoid coil. It is for a stock PDS controller (Curtis 1206MX), but the voltage paths for an Alltrax XCT controller is the same except the voltage to the keyswitch does not go through the F/R switch first like it does in the stock PDS controller.
You've got battery voltage on C1 Pin-4, so the next place to look is C3 Pin-3, through the Run/Tow switch and then C3 Pin-4. Get the battery voltage on the grey wire going to the F/R switch and one of the problems is solved. |

Re: Controller Programming
Sounds like a bad Run/Tow switch. Clip lead 3 to 4 and see if it runs.
Then we can go after the other issues, if they still exist. |
