have a new coil with no spark. old and new coils both ohm within spec. fly wheel magnet is rustfree. it seems to have a good pull when holding a screwdriver over it. coil clearance is set . still no spark?

Disconnect the black wire coming from the coil an test for spark. If the motor starts you will have to shut it off by removing the spark plug lead or shut off the air supply. Please post your results.

Re: 2011 carryall fe350, check flywheel?
The black wire is the kill wire for the coil. When that wire is grounded the coil will not make spark.
That wire is connected to a white w/black stripe wire that runs to the throttle microswitch and to the key switch. If the white/black wire is shorted to ground, or either of those switches are not working properly, you will get no spark. Disconnect the black wire from the white/black and leave it hanging where it can’t touch anything metal. See if you get spark and/or if the engine runs. If so there is a problem in the kill circuit (white w/black stripe wire) somewhere on the cart. If you still have no spark the coil is bad. |

Did you replace the coil with an OEM coil? Or aftermarket? Are you sure you used the correct coil? Where did you get it from?

yeah on the never. my dealer claims no one else has the same problems with the equipment as our crew does. but thats another story. So does any one else feel that my flywheel is good. Honestly the one issues I've had with flywheels was the magnet/magnets coming off.
