Diod
What is the the small aluminum block with wires coming out of it that is grounded to the transmission on my 2006 club car pioneer gas. It is broken off the ground and is laying on top of the transmission. The previous owner said it would not start unless it was making contact with ground. I’m thinking it may be left over low oil emergency kill from the original motor. It has a predator 670 in it now. I have seen it on parts diagram and it is referred to as a diod. I have clamped it to the transmission so it won’t bounce around but was thinking about removing it.
