G-16 Rod Bearings?

I know the G-14 motor has rod bearings but none of the pictures on the G-16 shows separate rod bearings. Does the G-16 have them?

The G 16 has a cast aluminum connecting rod with no bearings. If the play is too large the rod must be replaced.
