Got ya, lots of people on BGW have done this and i have only heard good story's, about how the cart runs better not one bad one story, good luck with what ever you do

If you are comparing the heat of the muffler from when you had poor crank seals and after changing them, it could be that the motor is now much better at bringing a larger air/fuel mix into the cylinder to burn and as a result produces more heat. The engine is simply producing more power and heat. Blow the dust and debris out of the cooling fan and fins on the engine and enjoy your new power.

The oil settles in the muffler if run on short trips and muffler is cool (like typical golf use). If it starts smoking when hot then it has some in it, best to run the * out of it and make it smoke a lot and run it until it stops smoking. Usually about 15min it will stop. Problem people have is carts are old and the oil is dry or full of carbon and they will not burn out like above, so they cook them in a fire to force the issue. I had one that was plugged at the outlet. I stuck a screwdriver up the pipe and it broke it out then it ran fine. Well relatively fine as that cart was not in the best condition.
