Help with the beast!!!!
Last year I purchased a 700 amp controller (587) a motor (GL0-4001) and a foot pedal (484). All of these items were wired into an older cart running 35" tires (now 39"). Individual solenoids were used for foward and reverse along with a pds style foward and reverse rocker switch.
I now want these items placed in a different cart. The new cart is a 2000 ezgo non-pds cart. I want to use all of these components except the foot pedal. My question is can I wire the factory foot pedal on the ezgo to the GE controller which is 0-5k according to nivels website? If this can be accomplished with out the foot pedal (484) by using the factory set up. What would be the wiring procedure to make it work? All part numbers are Nivel part numbers |

Re: Help with the beast!!!!
Series sorry I left that out. My main concern is this. I want to use the factory foot pedal on the 2000 ezgo with all the components I listed. Then i want to use the after market foot pedal 484 with all the components off the 2000 ezgo. So basically I want to swap the entire drive system of both carts with each other, but leave the foot pedals that they already have on them.

Re: Help with the beast!!!!
FSIP makes a throttle converter that will allow you to run the 0-5k control in the ITS cart. But you are out of luck going the other way with the stock ITS controller.

Re: Help with the beast!!!!
For some reason I thought the 484 foot pedal had an its throttle built into it. Am I completely off base with that?

Re: Help with the beast!!!!
Google your peddle part number and answer your own question. Call FSIP and order the ITS throttle converter. I don't have a #.
