Yamaha G2 electric rear shocks
Our dealer has informed us that rear shocks, part number JG6-F2210-00-00, for our 1990 G2 electric are no longer available. Is there an acceptable alternative? The dealer says shocks for the gas version are still available, but are not heavy enough.

Re: Yamaha G2 electric rear shocks
After calls to about 30 Yamaha dealers all over the country, we found a very helpful person at New England Golf Car who researched and found "heavy duty" shocks from Yamaha. These are part number JN4-F2210-00-00 and will properly fit the Yamaha G2 electric. The spring rate is comparable to the original shocks.
