G2 Missing Pilot Screw
Just completed a bunch of work on the cart (1990 G2). Carb clean, oil change, new air filter, spark plug, and drive belt. I was reading up on carb adjustments and came to find out that the pilot screw is MISSING; completely gone. I can't believe it.
Is it possible to find a replacement?  God knows I don't want to spend $300+ on a new CARB because of one pilot screw. I suppose I could make one as a last resort if I could find out the size and thread specs, but I am not sure about the seat angle. Any ideas are appreciated. Thank! -Kevin |

Yamaha dealer sells just screw & spring, i think (& i work at a yami dealer, pretty sure i remember seeing those).

Thanks. I will check with my local dealer and see if he can get it for me.
 Frankly, I am surprised it runs as well as it does without it. Hah. |

Dealer had it in stock. Put the screw in today and boy does it start fast now. Couldn't creep before but have no problem at low speed now.
