Default G2 Missing Pilot Screw

Just completed a bunch of work on the cart (1990 G2). Carb clean, oil change, new air filter, spark plug, and drive belt. I was reading up on carb adjustments and came to find out that the pilot screw is MISSING; completely gone. I can't believe it.

Is it possible to find a replacement?

God knows I don't want to spend $300+ on a new CARB because of one pilot screw.

I suppose I could make one as a last resort if I could find out the size and thread specs, but I am not sure about the seat angle.

Any ideas are appreciated.

Thank! -Kevin

Yamaha dealer sells just screw & spring, i think (& i work at a yami dealer, pretty sure i remember seeing those).

Heres your yamaha part numbers
75g-14211 "pilot screw"
620-14212 "spring"

Thanks. I will check with my local dealer and see if he can get it for me.

Frankly, I am surprised it runs as well as it does without it. Hah.

Dealer had it in stock. Put the screw in today and boy does it start fast now. Couldn't creep before but have no problem at low speed now.

Thanks!
