Default G1 how much oil should be in engine

do I have to put oil in engine I notice with the head off there is oil at the bottom of case and where does it come from or go in?

The G1 is a 2 cycle (aka 2 stroke) engine and does not have oil in the crankcase. The oil gets mixed in with the gasoline. You should have a reservoir on the drivers side inner fender with 2 cycle oil in it. If not then you'll have to premix the gas and oil. The ratio of mix will vary depending upon who you ask, but the stock oil pump mixes at between 150:1 and 300:1, according to the manual. If you don't have one, I recommend getting an owners/service manual.
