What pieces would I need to remove in order to see if I have a stock voltage reducer? Like I said, I have a stock light kit and harness currently. 2011 Precednt

You don't have to remove anything. Crawl underneath the cart and look behind the front suspension. Between the front suspension and the back of the floorboard is a small metal cavity that the reducer fits into. It's stud mounted with two 1/4" flange nuts and has a wire running into the same small hole behind the dash that the pigtail for the front lights run into.

Okay, so I found it and in fact do have one. How do I tap into this to add the volt meter? They seem be wiring harnesses vs. plain wires to tap.

Depends whether it's a 16 to 12 v reducer or a 48v to 12v reducer. Post a pic

I will post a picture later tonight when I get home, but I do know that it read 48V to 10/12V on the label.

Jmbeebe0722,
Are you looking to add a volt meter to monitor your battery pack voltage?

If so there is a pair already in the dash to power the volt meter.

That is exactly what I an looking for. I bought a volt meter to monitor the charge of the batteries.

Where can I find this pair and what would it look like?
