I think what threw me off (no excuse) is the wires in the diagram appear: longest going to the micro-switch, and short distance going to controller when the opposite is true. I was testing from the wrong 2 wires all along.

I have never seen one of those carts in person so if that is the normal place where the resistor is installed, it would not have been where I would expect it.

The range in forward is within the 5% tolerance.

Did you connect those two wires that go to the micro switch together to see if you get a 0-2.5kΩ range?

No I have not Sergio. Thanks for your help and patience with my lack of knowledge with these MSP's.

When I hook the 2 together how would I attach the leads to test? Same as I have been I suppose? (The ones to the controller)
