Aftermarket coil, around a month or so if you're lucky.

OEM who knows. My 1993 carryall is still on its original OEM coil. You dont often need to replace them. Which is good because they're kind of a PITA to get to.

David is a great guy and runs a stand-up business.

Did the head gasket help bring up your compression? I'd keep an eye on that periodically. These FE motor cylinder walls are made of unobtanium or something basically indestructible. But if compression is low, it's usually better to rebuild with fresh rings and a quick hone early while it's still running.well than let it go to where it stops running completely. Cylinder will be in much better shape.

Haven't checked compression since it now starts fast and easy. When I rebuilt the engine, I did hone the cylinder and installed new rings and new valves. This is the engine I disarmed the ACR so now I have to keep the belt tight to prevent slipping during starts. Thx
