Ezgo ID Without Tag

Bought the cart last year, TXT gas, The guy took the tag out of glovebox.
Is their any other stampings on frame or chassis?

I think EZ-Go stopped using the metal tag in the passenger storage area about 2006. The holes may still be there from the molding process, unless he TOLD you he removed the tag. Try looking for numbers on the frame rails under the seat in the engine bay.

Never noticed it till I got it home. I can see where they drilled the rivets out.
I was told it's 2005, But I don't know why he removed tag, I'm sure it's not flamming, Very honest person.

Is the steering box mounted to the axle or tucked up higher into the framework under the front cowl?

2003 was the last year for the metal tags. The instrument panels are still tha same and you will see where the old tags used to go (holes are still present). If it's a 2005, there should be a tag on the frame under the foot pedal area AND one above the engine on the upper frame rail (below the inspection cover). If these two are not present, I would suspect the cart being stolen...
