anybody know what series battery a txt takes?
I am needing a new battery for my txt and a buddy has a battery wharehouse next door to his work but I cant go out to look at the battery in my truck until after work to tell him what size I need. Anybody know off hand what series I need or what is the biggest that will fit right?

It came with a 70 but, you put a 75 in it.

Alright just so nobody uses this for reference a 75 series did not fit in my cart it was to long to fit between the brackets that hold the battery from moving front to back.

Maybe MMT can clear this up for us. I have the 75 series in my 2000 workhorse. Is the workhorse battery compartment longer? Thanks for getting back to us. Sorry for the mis-information.

Couldnt tell you about the workhorse but the 75 was a fair amount longer than the little tabs welded to the frame on mine. Also the 75 did not havetop post connections only side posts as well. I guess that is what i get for trying to have somebody pick up a part for me with out the old one in hand. The battery in my cart was a 26 series in case anyone ever searches for this info.

My Wholesale Battery place here had the Deka batteries that ezgo uses, with the bolt on cable terminals.. no messing around 62 bucks.
