Built my son (9 yrs old) a 99 ezgo gas. Upgraded it to a 350 engine. I connected that wire in your pic to a backup buzzer and a light. Told him that when he heard that buzzer, pull over and shut it off. Oh yea, I took the original backup buzzer off. Drove me nuts.

Good Idea. This might even work for my 16 year old. You might want to use a relay as that switch is not designed for very much current. You could look at the original bulb that was supposed to be used with it. That should give you the wattage. You can use that to get the amps used by it.

I'm thinking that a relay with a voltage cutout circuit would work good here. When you get the voltage over 13v. The relay would work. This way they wouldn't hear it until the cart was started and running. I'm afraid my 16 yr son would get used to the sound and not think about it if the alarm did go off.

It buzzes and buzzes and buzzes and buzzes. Shoot that freaking alarm ;) Never heard anything like that. I actually took my daughter when that started to happen to the ear Dr. :) He told me it was the dreaded preteen syndrome. And it was only going to get worse before they come out of the teens. 125$ please :(
